About the job

We are seeking a Senior Python Developer to join our product team to take Chiron, Yields.io's award-winning platform for automated model validation and testing, to the next level! Chiron is used by both international investment banks as well as by regional financial institutions to increase the efficiency of model validation and generate regulatory compliant documentation. Apart from our software solution, we offer advice and implementation services to assist our clients through their model risk management journey. As a Senior Python Developer, you will work with our product team that is tasked with building our collaborative platform for model risk management.

As our Senior Python Developer, you take ownership of projects, take initiatives, and communicate with your colleagues to produce outstanding solutions. You are a fast learner, you can translate high level requirements into concrete actions, and you can design and implement Python APIs with ease. You are not afraid of asking questions and challenging the requests that come your way.

You will be successful in this role if you already have

• Designed and implemented API's
• Taken ownership during previous projects
• Experience in implementing microservices

Requirements

• You have demonstrable knowledge and experience in API design and maintenance
• You can write and interpret Python fluently
• You are solution-oriented and can work independently
• You can clearly communicate with more business-oriented people
• You must be based in Belgium
