General information
- Duration: First contract is for 6 months with rolling extension.
- No. of working hours: 40 hours per week
- Location: 2 day(s) per week in office in MECHELEN

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers and back-end developers to implement responsive and visually appealing web applications.
- Translate design concepts into clean and efficient front-end code using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and implement them accordingly.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in front-end development.
- Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain code quality standards.
- Test and debug code to ensure seamless user experiences across multiple devices and browsers.
Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Front-End Developer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with build tools and package managers (e.g., Webpack, npm).
- Experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
