General information
- Duration: First contract is for 6 months with rolling extension.

- Location: 2 day(s) per week in office in MECHELEN

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with development teams to understand software requirements and design effective test automation strategies.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks.
- Execute automated tests and analyze results to identify defects and areas for improvement.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, ensuring quality assurance practices are integrated into the process.
- Work closely with manual testing teams to identify opportunities for test automation and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product features and provide input on testability and automation concerns.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
Job requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Test Automation Engineer, with a focus on designing and implementing automated test scripts.
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar tools.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).
- Proficiency in Dutch is preferred for effective communication within the team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Nice to have:
- ISTQB or similar certifications are a plus.
