Location: OFFSITE
Note: Please refer to your Subcontract Agreement, article 6.4.1.a, which states Off-Site Discount: 5% (this discount is applicable to all requirements, and applies when the assigned personnel are permitted to work Off-Site, such as at- home)". Please be sure to price this discount in your overall price proposal when submitting bids against off-site RFQs
Not To Exceed Rate: 68 EUR
Required Security Clearance: NO SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIRED
Specific Working Conditions: The contractor can work offsite with their own laptop and monitor. The development will be on NATO Software Factory, on the cloud. The project intends to buy and provide a decent development laptop.
Duties amp; Role:
To support this project, NATO is seeking the support of external software developers. Through this statement of work, NATO requests a .NET back-end developer. This person will be requested to:
- Participate in design discussions,
- Write the application back-end, namely:
- The application data model,
- The web API,
- Services to enable interaction with third-party systems,
- Business logic/code.
Requirements
Skill, Knowledge amp; Experience:
The candidate shall have the following qualifications and expertise:
- Back-end development experience with the following technologies: .NET Framework and .NET Core or .NET 5/6, Entity Framework, and the C# programming language,
- Experience with Service-oriented Architecture software design and with the development of web APIs,
- Experience with JSON Web Tokens (JWT) or similar token formats such as Security Assertion Mark-up Language (SAML),
- Experience with Visual Studio and PostgreSQL Server or similar relational database management systems such as Microsoft SQL or MySQL,
- Experience with Design Thinking, Dev(Sec)Ops and Agile software development,
- Experience with cloud computing services such as Microsoft Azure,
- Experience with Git
- Preferably, previous work experience with NATO,
- Preferably, experience with the development of Health Information Technology/medical software,
- Preferably, an understanding of patent tracking, patient regulating, and medical reporting
- The ability to conduct all work in English.
