Full-Stack Developer (Java/Angular)

Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Full-Stack Developer (Java/Angular) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks:
- Develop and maintain applications in accordance with specifications and technical best practices;
- Create process and data models, draw up technical specifications and build prototypes;
- Assist the project manager in making proposals for the definition of tasks, estimates and deliverables;
- Develop unit and integration test suites, plans and programs;
- Define and integrate technological components or applications;
- Assist with deployment and configuration of the system;
- Take part in application support by investigating issues (3rd level support etc.).
Requirements
- Master’s degree in IT or relevant discipline, combined with minimum 8 years of relevant working experience in IT;
- Strong experience with Java, Springboot and Angular (PrimeNG);
- Experience in application development and relational databases;
- Experience with UML (or case tools), Agile and Scrum;
- Experience in IT development: server and client-based libraries and technologies relating to Java, JavaScript, Oracle DB, scripting languages, servlet containers etc.;
- Knowledge of web standards, CSS-based design, cross-browser compatibility;
- Knowledge of REST and working with APIs, developing APIs, etc.;
- Knowledge of issue-tracking and ticketing tools;
- Knowledge of application integration database management systems;
- Good understanding of SOLID principles;
- Experience with DevOps and mobile app development would be considered as an asset;
- Experience with EU Institutions would be considered as a strong asset;
- Excellent command of the English language.
