Testing and Quality Assurance Specialist

At Uni Systems, we are working towards turning digital visions into reality. We are continuously growing and we are looking for an experienced Testing and QA Specialist to will join our UniQue team!

What will you be bringing to the team?

• Provision of quality plans, quality assessments, quality control tests, evaluations and service level agreements associated with information projects
• Ensuring that the development teams adhere to the principles, guidelines and best practices of the test strategy as defined.
• Building and maintenance of quality standards as well as enforcing technical and testing standards.
• Monitoring of all the test activities, test results, leaked defects, root cause analysis and identifying areas of improvement. Implement steps required to improve the processes.
• Communication with multiple teams to resolve found issues, integration testing, assistance in User Acceptance Testing
• Ensure the proper usage of available tools to gain the maximum benefit of the QA effort.
• Provide technical expertise in Testing Methodologies, Testing Processes, Tools and Techniques across the teams.
• Provide timely and accurate reporting on test planning, execution status, issues to the Test Manager and other stakeholders

Requirements

What do you need to succeed in this position?

• A Bachelor degree in the field and 17 years of experience. (or Master degree + 13 years of experience).
• Good knowledge of testing tools, particularly SoapUI, Selenium, JUnit
• Good knowledge of Atlassian JIRA
• Good knowledge of web technologies, in particular REST APIs, XML and TypeScript
• Experience in the test data preparation, preferably with SQL databases.
• Good knowledge of Agile methodologies
• ISTBQ certification is an asset
• Experience and/or knowledge on black box testing, non-functional testing and user interface testing.
• Knowledge of testing technologies, tools and techniques.
• Hands-on experience in the manual Testing.
• Knowledge of a Test Management Tool.
• Knowledge of a Defect Tracking tool.
• Good redaction skills, experience in preparation of written reports.
