Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Field Service Engineer BE/NL in Belgium - knowledge of Dutch is mandatory.
As a promoter of the customer experience, you will work on our customers' premises to install, maintain, repair and adjust our equipment.
The main tasks are as follows:
Carry out installations, repairs, adjustments and tests on customer equipment, in accordance with the internal procedures ;
Keeping abreast of the technical details of the various pieces of equipment (hardware and software) and their development;
Respond to requests for technical assistance and corrective or preventive maintenance from customers and sales teams;
Drawing up estimates for repairs and proposing maintenance contracts to customers ;
Ensuring the administrative follow-up (one day a week dedicated to administrative follow-up: updating the CRM, drafting service sheets and documentation for the sales department) ;
Participate in the company's growth by identifying sales opportunities and recommending products and services to customers.

Requirements
Technician or engineer diploma in optics/electronics/computer science 2 years' experience in a similar position is desirable - but position open to juniors
General knowledge of optics, micromechanics, electronics, computer science
Ideally knowledge of imaging software
Fluent in Dutch and good level of English, both written and spoken
Team spirit
Good communication and relationships with customers and sales teams
Good organization: autonomy, responsiveness and proactivity
Efficiency in organizing the agenda and travel to clients
Rigor and precision
Ability to work independently without supervision.
Flexibility to manage multiple and changing priorities
Ability to work a flexible schedule, sometimes outside of normal working hours, and travel if necessary
