The Team:
Biomodal’s Commercial team is made up of field sales, application support, marketing and product management professionals, focused on providing top tier customer service. With team members in the US, UK and EU, the team is laser-focused on developing and supporting early adopters of biomodal’s multi-omics platform.
The Role:
The Executive Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for consultative sales of biomodal products. As the first member of the team in Europe you will work to define the function and establish best practices in a highly dynamic environment. You will be the initial point of contact for academic institutions, research centres, and corporations throughout the region and will be tasked with raising awareness of biomodal’s core technology, exploring potential applications and supporting direct sales and engagement activities with new and potential customers.
The position is an internal sales position and requires minimal travel time (10%).
Responsibilities:
- Establishes and executes strategies for obtaining new customers to meet both Management by Objectives (MBO’s) amp; revenue targets.
- Leverages publications, grant databases and colleagues to engage new customers.
- Utilize inhouse CRM tools (Hubspot and SalesForce) to produce actionable reports for the Commercial function and wider organization.
- Develop a strong understanding of biomodal’s technology, products and applications.
Requirements
The Person:
- Genetics and Molecular Biology background with genomics/NGS experience
- Experience in a commercial/sales setting in related industry
- Motivated towards self-directed continual learning.
- A demonstrated desire to be an effective collaborator within a team selling environment, and a willingness to provide and seek feedback from teammates.
- Strong desire to win and build customer relationships.
- Experience CRM systems, we use Salesforce and HubSpot
- Languages: English, and either German and/or French
Education:
- Must have a B.A. or B.S., preferably in Biology / Genetics.
