Project Manager (Service Management Migration)

Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Project Manager (Service Management Migration) fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on-site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated with the Development team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks
- Define the project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria for the migration;
- Analyse the current statistics, volumetrics and KPIs;
- Review current documentation and workflows;
- Determine desired objectives and outcomes for analysed processes and map them with relevant ServiceNow modules/features;
- Coordinate and oversee migration activities (data extraction, transformation, loading, configuration, testing, validation, and deployment);
- Provide regular project status updates, reports, and documentation to project sponsors and team members.
Requirements
- University degree in IT combined with relevant IT professional experience of 13 years;
- Strong experience in IT service management (ITSM) processes and tools;
- At least 4 years of experience with recognized Project Management frameworks (e.g. Prince2, PMI, PM2);
- Experience in project coordination procedures, preferably involving a recognized methodology;
- PM certifications (PRINCE2, PMP or equivalent) are required;
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and execute complex migration projects including conformance testing with multiple stakeholders and dependencies;
- Certifications in ITIL is a very important asset;
- Knowledge of ServiceNow platform capabilities, features, and best practices and migration from a legacy ITSM tool to ServiceNow is an asset;
- Experience in public administration is an asset;
- Excellent command of the English language.
