Burson Cohn amp; Wolfe (BCW) Brussels, a leading and award-winning integrated public affairs and communications consultancy, is hiring a Public Relations Senior Account Executive to join our Communications practice. We are seeking a professional with agency experience to support our clients’ corporate and government relations communications. The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate hands-on experience in designing and implementing digital and social strategies that stand out in the crowded Brussels market and that work as an integral part of a broader PR campaigns.

Requirements

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement PR campaigns, including digital and social media strategies, for clients across a range of sectors;
• Work on a range of client accounts at the same time, managing various projects and deadlines;
• Analyse the effectiveness of digital and social campaigns and how these contribute to achieving the goals of our clients’ campaigns, including regular reporting;
• Keep abreast of new digital and social trends and business developments across several policy and corporate sectors;
• Support our new business development work to grow our client base as well as our efforts to expand the range of services that we offer to existing clients.

Competencies amp; Skills

• At least two years experience as a consultant in a PR agency;
• Experience of managing effective client relationships;
• Experience of account management and budget management;
• Knowledge of and interest in EU public policy;
• Experience in online content production;
• Excellent understanding and knowledge of social media platforms and social media analytics;
• Critical thinker and problem-solver;
• Experience of working with teams to create, implement, and maintain effective integrated communications campaigns;
• Strong team spirit and experience of in working in a multicultural environment;
• The ability to juggle multiple clients/ campaigns while working with several colleagues and teams;
• Communicates thoughtfully, accurately, and efficiently to establish relationships;
  
• Masters the detail of complex issues, providing strategic advice on challenging topics;
  
• Enthusiastic about new technology and keeping up to speed with digital trends;
  
• Fluency in English and French (spoken and written) is essential, other European languages are also an important asset.
