Specific Working Conditions: This contract is not full time contract. The work will be executed off-site at the contractor's own office.

Cyber Security Policy Specialist


The contracted individuals must be able to perform effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision. This task will further develop a comprehensive DCIS Cyber Security Concept reflecting all possible scenarios with regard to Deployable CIS Capability in line with NATO's Level of Ambition on the capabilities of Prevent, Defend and Assess. For these capabilities, a mapping to services and equipment will be required.

Requirements

The required skillset for the contracted individual is equivalent to at least 'Level 1 Cyber Security Policy and Accreditation Specialist. In particular, extensive knowledge and experience (totalling more than 8 years) in the following areas is required:

  • Cyber security concepts and technology;
  • Knowledge of DCIS, its components and its security posture with respect to the CIS Security Breakdown version 2.0
  • Knowledge of the Federated Mission Networking (FMN) environment and its relationship to DCIS
  • Experience in concept development in the area of cyber security;
  • Extensive knowledge of cyber as a domain operational concepts;
  • Knowledge to evaluate and assess scenarios for cyber security threat / risk ratios;
  • Experience with accreditation and deployment of CIS to theatre;
  • Familiarity with NATO organisational and political structures and relationships with NATO and Partner nations;
  • Ability to independently produce and edit technical documentation and scientific reports in English;
  • Excellent communications skills;
  • Good understanding of the project management methodologies, including PRINCE 2 and Agile/Scrum
