We offer a thrilling opportunity to join our international IT team as Infrastructure Cloud Architect responsible for the design and build of Aliaxis' cloud computing architecture that all businesses rely on. This involves working on cloud infrastructure amp; security designs, cloud approval plans, integration designs, and systems required to manage cloud usage, security, and cost tracking.

This role is based in our Headquarter in Brussels and reports directly to the Head of Global Cloud Services
The main responsibilities can be summarized as follows:
- Identify the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the infrastructure needs of the company;
- Translate project-specific needs into a cloud topologies that will suit those needs and considering the project needs in terms of resource usage and scalability;
- Complete the integration of new applications into the cloud environment;
- Offer training and guidance to all whose roles bring them into contact with the cloud infrastructure;
- Manage the External Service Provider delivery of services for maximizing the utilization of the infrastructure amp; cloud services and assure these attain the quality of services expected by Aliaxis;
- Oversee the troubleshooting of a wide variety of technical problems and functions as a Subject Matter Expert for high priority/severe issues.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience, of which at least 3 years designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions, especially with Azure
- In-depth knowledge of networking and associated technologies, including LAN/WAN, OSI, TCP/IP, File Transfer Protocols, Telnet and Secure Shell, Load balancer, Domain Name System, and Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol, among others
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent
- Solid ITIL service management amp; SLA reporting experience
- Design knowledge for cloud architecture
- Good knowledge of cloud security concepts, including firewalls
- Good programming skills, preferably in PowerShell
- Experience in managing 3rd parties and vendors
- Strong project management and coordination skills
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Experience with SAP is a plus
