Job Description

MaaS Global is the world’s first true Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) operator with its award-winning Whim app, which provides users all city transport services in one app. Whim allows users to travel seamlessly where and when they want with public transport, taxis, cars, e-scooters and many other options under a single monthly subscription.

Since the very beginning of the company Benelux has been on the company’s radar. The dynamic, international and densely populated area in the heart of Europa, which has explored over the last decades many ways to decrease the huge amount of cars on the streets and highways, has attracted lots of mobility providers, who have appeared to be very open to create the right conditions for MaaS to succeed.

Antwerp is often referred to as Flagship City when it comes to how a government can support all stakeholders to make MaaS flourish. That’s also one of the reasons why the main focus for Benelux is currently on this area. With 9 different mobility partners available in Whim in the area and still more to come, there’s a strong foundation to revolutionise users’ travel habits, in favor of sustainable modes and to take the battle against the private car.

We are looking for a Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team to successfully implement and operate our Benelux region marketing and customer acquisition activities together with the other team members and external partners. The role will work closely with the Country Manager, CMO, HQ Marketing Team to define and implement local marketing and PR campaigns and to create digital content to our marketing channels.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for successful localisation and execution of the marketing plans to local markets according to the Business Plan targets and marketing/UA budget guidelines.
  • Participate in business and strategy planning.
  • Monitor and report key marketing and sales KPI performance.
  • Coordinate market and customer research and insight gathering.
  • Lead the local PR activities.
  • Lead the website content creation and maintain the website content, performance and linkages.
  • Lead the active SoMe presence according to the SoMe strategy guidelines.
  • Campaign coordination with the digital lead agency.
  • End-to-end responsibility of co/cross-sales and marketing partner channel negotiations and execution.

What you need in order to be successful in this role:

  • Comfortable with hands-on digital marketing functions, following set guidelines and translating them to meet the local market
  • 3+ years in similar responsibilities
  • Good ability to coordinate execution and partner network
  • Systematic approach in working with excel and data
  • Excellent ability to speak and produce text well in both local language (native-level knowledge) and English, and interest in producing content to digital channels
  • Result-oriented sales mentality
  • Tools: Wordpress, CRM automation (Braze, Mailchimp)

Nice-to-haves:

  • Background from consumer subscription services (Pay TV/tech/app/mobile/ subscription industry)
  • Experience in creative planning, content production, sponsorship projects
