Job Description
Agilytic is looking for an experienced and entrepreneurial Data Science Manager to sustain its growth.
Our offices are in Brussels' southeast vicinity (La Hulpe). Still, we work on assignments anywhere in Belgium and neighboring countries such as Luxemburg, France, the Netherlands, and the UK. We're also flexible on remote working options, as long as it fits with our client's best interests.
As a Data Science Manager, you will play a vital role in the supervision and end-to-end delivery of our projects, from the requirements analysis to the developments' automation. This role includes project management, data manipulation, data audit, descriptive analysis run, modeling, and presentation of the results.
The Data Science Manager will coach other data scientists to acquire the business and technical skills to manage their projects quickly.
You will
- Interact with IT/data specialists and business executives (marketing, operations, finance, customer care)
- Take leadership on entire projects, from initial scope to the final delivery
- Be the owner of entire areas of account relationship building/nurturing with existing and future clients
- Provide supervision and guidance to colleagues
- Lead internal initiatives to improve the way we work at Agilytic
Requirements
We are looking for strong candidates with the following academic and professional experiences
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in data science projects, from kick-off to final delivery
- Demonstrable experience in supervising project teams
- Demonstrable experience in client/stakeholder management
- Knowledge and demonstrable experience with ETL and statistical packages (SAS, SPSS, R, Python, Spark)
- Demonstrable experience in working within cloud data environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Knowledge of a programming language (Javascript, Spark, S, C) is a plus
- Technical expertise in data preparation, data models, data mining, and segmentation
Other requirements
- Fluency in English + French + Dutch.
- Driving license: type B (car in Belgium) or similar
- Eligibility to work in Belgium and the European Union (please be aware that we cannot provide relocation support)
