Please note that we will accept only applicants who can provide us with an internship agreement from their university.
YOUR MISSION:
You will be a part of our new dedicated Design System team, who works on creating the components, patterns, interactions, and behaviors that define and underpin our product's user experience.
- Your main responsibility will be to support the implementation of the new design system by providing UI designs. The day to day tasks will include;
- Auditing existing components, content amp; interactions.
- Work with other designers holistically to raise the quality bar and contribute to our design system by creating new components, styles, and interactions.
- Support team-wide adoption of the Design System, manage changes, and promote input from different teams.
- Support the UX designers in documenting and maintaining usage guidelines and specs for components and patterns within the system.
- Influence product specifications and complete design work with a high level of polish.
- Ensure final mockups are pixel perfect before development handoff. (Annotations are a must).
- Manage updates from beginning to completion - from ideation, to design, and to development to guarantee a finished product at launch.
- Liaise with the accessibility specialist to ensure that the accessibility standards are met.
- Work closely with the UX designers, accessibility specialists amp; front-end developers
- Create illustrations, icons, visuals, infographics, data visualisations etc
- Create prototypes based on wireframes and mockups
YOUR PROFILE:
- Passionate about UX design you know and follow best practices and are proficient with modern product interface design.
- Able to conceptualize amp; wireframe user interfaces and holistic user experiences
- Able to apply critical, user-focused decision making and design-thinking to establish a consistent experience and information hierarchy
- Working knowledge of Axure RP/Figma
- You are a communicative team player with a healthy dose of independence.
- Sharing knowledge, curiosity, drive and flexibility are part of your DNA.
- Excellent level of English
- You study HCI, product design , graphic design or other related courses
- Flexibility to work with changing priorities
- Desirable: Basic knowledge of Front-end development (HTML/CSS)
