GEM One is a brand new TECH company within the TVH Holding that aims at developing future-proof solutions for optimal fleet performance management in multiple domains such as: track amp; trace, operational efficiency, security amp; safety and service amp; maintenance. We offer cloud-based solutions and the necessary hardware components to intelligently gather and enrich data of industrial equipment to streamline fleet management related processes.

To support the rapid growth of Gem One, we are looking for a Customer Equipment Specialist.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide remote technical support to our clients.
• Travel to our client’s sites located across Europe. On-site, you will assist in installing the devices on their machines, solve problems,
• Train the technicians of our clients with respect to the installation of the devices
• Carry out analyses, read the data on the devices and provide the necessary solutions
• Support the Ramp;D Department by carrying out electronical tasks to test the devices,

Requirements

• You should have an degree in a technical field (electronic, electrical, or electromechanical engineering)
• A Multidisciplinary affinity and experience with electronics and software would be greatly appreciated
• Excellent communication skills and organisational skills
• A team player with a flexible attitude, but also a self-motivated individual who can work with minimal supervision by consistently taking the initiative to get things done
• Strong analytical skills, result oriented and a sense of responsibility
• You must have a structured and conceptual problem-solving approach and be able to combine this with technical creativity
• You are internationally oriented and have a very good command of the English languages in speaking and writing; (Knowledge of any other language is a very nice to have: Dutch, French, German, Italian)
• Customer oriented, IT and technical minded
• You’re happy to travel within European region on a frequent basis
• You need to be eager to learn
