GEM One is a brand new TECH company within the TVH Holding that aims at developing future-proof solutions for optimal fleet performance management in multiple domains such as: track amp; trace, operational efficiency, security amp; safety and service amp; maintenance. We offer cloud-based solutions and the necessary hardware components to intelligently gather and enrich data of industrial equipment to streamline fleet management related processes.

To support the rapid growth of Gem One, we are looking for an Operations Manager EMEA to coordinate our organization’s operations. You will mainly implement the right processes and practices across the entire organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Besides improving the performance you will also be responsible for supply chain and stock management.

You will be a mentor for your team members, find ways to increase the quality of customer service and implement best practices across all levels. We will trust you to help us remain compliant, efficient and profitable during the course of the business.

Tasks

  • As the Operations Manager EMEA you will lead a team (Sales Support, Logistics and Customer Support) and will report directly to the COO (Chief Operating Officer). In addition you will:
  • Analyse and manage our stock level on both European and Global level and report any discrepancies, optimizations, etc. to the HR department
  • Be responsible for our CRM Package: Salesforce and propose changes if necessary
  • Be responsible for the optimization of our internal tools and processes such as Supply Chain,

Requirements

  • Previous experience of minimum 5 years as a Operations Manager or in a similar role
  • Degree in Business, Operations Management or a related field
  • Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
  • Global experience is an asset
  • Familiarity with business and financial principles
  • A nice to have: Knowledge of import and export principles
  • Excellent communications skills, leadership skills and outstanding organisational skills
  • You are internationally oriented and have a proficient command of English and Spanish (both spoken en written). Knowledge of any other language is a very nice to have (Dutch, French, German, Italian)
  • Strong analytical and problem solving abilities
  • You are willing to travel for your job
