Job Description

Thomas International are a leading global provider of psychometric assessments. We are entering an exciting period of accelerated growth due to the recent launch of our market leading Assessment Platform. Thomas is seeking to hire a Regional Marketing Manager to work with the Global Demand Generation team and the Regional Sales Leader. This role will be co-responsible for the execution and optimisation of the Thomas demand generation strategy for Belux and France to deliver high quality leads and opportunities to the local Sales team.

The Regional Marketing Manager will leverage positioning, messaging, market segmentation, buyer personas and other information regarding the Thomas products and services to define and run audience engagement programs and enable the delivery of the Belux and France sales targets.

This role will work very closely with their partners in the Global Demand Generation and Digital Marketing team to help ensure centrally driven paid media /digital campaign efficacy is optimised for the local market, augmented with a local marketing and business development plan designed to achieve target. The Regional Marketing Manager will also work closely with Sales and Business Development resource to ensure regional outbound campaigns are rigorously defined, properly executed, and fuelled with compelling content and offers.

The successful candidate needs to demonstrate that they can become a key business partner for Regional Sales Management, reporting closely on ROI of marketing programs, funnel contribution performance and understanding how to marry local needs with the company’s overall global marketing strategy and model.


Responsibilities

Regional demand generation

  • Develop and execute regional demand generation plans to meet monthly and quarterly Belux and France sales goals.
  • Work with Sales, Partners and Global Marketing teams to create, drive and deliver integrated Belux and France campaigns including advertising, content syndication, emails, webinars, tradeshows, and 3rd party demand generation programmes.
  • Track demand generation progress against monthly targets; monitor and analyse funnel and channel performance to identify gaps and propose solutions/remediation activities to address them.
  • Work closely with the Belux and France Sales and BDR Management team to ensure an efficient lead follow-up process and feedback loop on leads generated.
  • Act as a liaison between the Belux and France Sales team and Global Marketing to ensure that Belux and France sales and marketing needs are effectively communicated to Demand Generation and the Belux and France Sales team is kept informed of the global and Belux and France marketing programmes
  • Evaluate the competitive landscape in Belux and France and suggest new strategies to increase brand awareness and market penetration through campaigns, events and content.
  • Work closely with the Content amp; Design team to identify and support the production/localisation of sales and marketing content positioning Thomas at the forefront of the assessment industry in Belux and France
  • Manage use of localised sales and marketing collateral to ensure consistency in branding and co-branding with partners (white papers, sales presentations etc)
  • Define, configure and execute Thomas-owned events, summits and seminars across Belux and France throughout the year.
  • Create clear and concise briefs e.g. campaigns, collateral, events and liaise effectively with agencies, designers and printers as required.
  • Ownership and management of the Belux and France marketing budget and marketing calendar including contributing to the marketing planning cycle to ensure Belux and France market needs are captured in the annual marketing plans.
  • Team closely with local BDR / SDR resource to ensure outbound campaigns are integrated with overall marketing campaign themes and supported by cut-through marketing content
  • Localisation of content from Global team and some translation of short-form global marketing content plus oversee the management of larger translations through translation platform (Smartling) with translator.

Regional Customer Marketing

  • Regional Field Marketing needs to define and execute local customer marketing activities (mapped to renewals / expansion strategy of Sales Leaders)
  • End-to-end management of local customer marketing events (physical or digital)
  • Identify and nurture local customer advocates, yielding case studies and global speaking opportunities.
  • Localisation and send of global customer communications.
  • Local marketing communications eg newsletter to all clients/prospects as and when required by the local team.
