Full Stack Developer (Node.Js/Angular)

Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for an Full Stack Developer with experience in Node.Js and Angular fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the security team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks:
- Provide expert advice and assistance on Node.js and Angular for the development and maintenance of existing applications or new ones. Write the most technically challenging parts of these applications and mentor more junior developers when necessary;
- Assist in the implementation of a three tiers architecture;
- Write Backend programs and REST API calls using either node.js or Python services;
- Create SQL queries and PL/SQL programs;
- Promote and implement test automation and build automation deployment scripts. Ensure that the different environments (development, test, acceptance and production) are in a clean state;
- Write technical documentation such as the architecture part of the vision documents;
- Use JIRA, Confluence and Subversion/Git/Bitbucket as supporting tools;
- Ensure required deliverables are produced as a team effort, according to the deadlines and with the upmost quality.
Requirements
- University degree in IT or a related field with minimum 13 years of professional IT experience;
- Solid experience in Web development;
- Very strong experience in developing applications using ORACLE SQL and PL/SQL for the database, Node.js, JavaScript and Angular for the Client;
- Very strong knowledge of Python and Statistics related to time;
- Ability to write clear and structured technical documents;
- Ability and openness to learn quickly new IT languages or frameworks;
- PM2 methodology and agile practices are considered assets;
- CITnet studio (Confluence Wiki, JIRA and Subversion, Git/bitbucket) are the project development’s supporting toolset;
- Proven ability to integrate in an international/multicultural environment;
- Excellent command of English or/and French.
