Java Developer/Architect

Job Description
We currently have a vacancy for a Java Developer / Architect fluent in English, to offer his/her services as an expert who will be based in Brussels, Belgium. The work will be carried out either in the company’s premises or on site at customer premises. In the context of the first assignment, the successful candidate will be integrated in the security team of the company that will closely cooperate with a major client’s IT team on site.
Your tasks:
- Architecture and design of information systems
- Review of the architecture of existing systems
- Design and development of architecture components and building blocks (back-end/front-end)
- Analysis of the integration of different information systems
- Data analysis and data modelling
- Coordination of the implementation of the technical architecture
- Technical interface between the project leaders and the developers
- Production of software architecture documents
- Participation in technical working groups, progress meetings and meetings with the users
- Assistance during relevant parts of testing, analysis, technical documentation, deployment, evaluation and reporting.
Requirements
-University degree in IT with minimum 11 years of Java Web applications design;
-Experience of at least 11 years in the architecture, design and development of Java applications;
-Excellent knowledge of:
- Java/JEE: JDK 8, Java EE 7, EJB 3.0; 2.1; 2.0, JMS, JPA, Hibernate, JDBC
- Web: XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, Angular, TypeScript, Kendo UI, Prototype JS
- Frameworks: Spring MVC, Apache FOP, Docx4j, jax-ws, jax-rs, Vaadin, Experience with CMIS compliant tool (Alfresco, Apache chemistry)
- Build tool: Maven
- Testing: Junit
- IDE: Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA
- Application server: WebLogic 12
- Database: Oracle 11g and SQL (PL/SQL is an asset)
- Methodologies: RUP, Agile
