Job Description
We're looking for an experienced full stack mobile developer (with a focus on mobile app front-end) to join the Delta team! You'll be working in our office in Ghent, Belgium. We're located right in the city center in a gorgeous historic building, which is pretty cool. Psst. no worries if you can't speak Dutch, we're used to communicate in English. Not looking for remote positions though.
Right, the job! Well, first of all, you'll be part of a start-up which is part of a big company (eToro). Which means you'll be working within the Delta start-up mentality, surrounded by lots of experience and the empowering structure of a bigger entity. Win-win!
You'll be responsible for building new awesome features for our iOS amp; Android app, which are built in React Native. So yeah, you'll need some React knowledge for sure. Requirements are listed in full below. This position assumes a willingness to take ownership and capability to lead projects. You also need to be comfortable (and ideally have experience) with having other (junior) engineers directly reporting to you, as well as guiding and managing them.
What else? Delta is one of the household names in crypto, so you'll be working on an app that used by tens of thousands of dedicated investors, every day. We get lots of feedback and even more love from our users, which is really motivating and makes everybody here even more driven to keep adding value. Requirements
Most of all, we expect a 3 year experience in a similar role (or equivalent). This naturally leads to good knowledge of and experience with:
- React Native
- Typescript
- React + CSS/JS/HTML
Other non-required pluses include:
- NodeJS, MySQL, Redis
- AWS
- Blockchain development
In general, we're very perfectionist here at Delta. So a good eye for design and applying a great level of detail is a big plus.
