Functional Analyst with project management skills

Job Description
As a Functional Analyst and project coördinator, you will the vital link between our development team and product management team. You will be working on the development of applications that are part of our product portfolio. The scope of these projects and applications are applications that support the collaboration between different players in logistics processes. Knowledge of air cargo industry and air cargo processes is considered a strong plus in these projects.
For this position, we expect you to be a tech-savvy professional with an in-depth understanding of how technology can help us achieve our business goals. You should be methodical and have excellent time management skills. Ultimately, you should be able to coördinate and manage the project or part of the project you are working on.
You will:
- Gather, review and detail the business requirements
- Translate these business requirements into clear, precise and easy-to-read functional requirements.
- Design a solution based on these functional requirements.
- Translate the analysis into User Stories understandable by developers.
- Work closely together with the software architects and you will validate technical designs.
- Participate in estimating the product backlog items.
- Assist the developers in producing high quality products, based on defined specification.
- You are also responsible of testing the implemented features to ensure high quality.
- Scope project requirements and prepare budget
- Develop a detailed project plan and monitor progress
- Collaborate with internal teams to design, develop and implement digital projects
- Develop support documentation including risk logs and requirement specifications
Requirements
- You have a bachelor or master degree (or equivalent through relevant experience).
- You have relevant experience in functional analysis, technical design and application testing.
- As an alternative, you have a strong experience in development and technical design and you want to move towards a project management role.
- You have knowledge of air cargo industry and air cargo processes.
- You have experience with integration projects and with service-oriented, API-heavy environments.
- You are a good listener and at the same time challenging the input from the different stakeholders in a constructive way.
- You have strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills to be able to align with business owners, architects, software engineers and testers.
- You are able to communicate clearly by adopting different formats: Word documents, flowcharts, wireframes, Powerpoint presentations,..
- You are pro-active and results driven
- You are fluent in Dutch and English, any additional language is considered as a plus
- You are well structured in your work and have an eye for detail.
