Job Description
We are looking for a product and accessory designer who wants to design the future of hearing. At Loop, we have the drive to make comfortable, qualitative, and stylish hearing protection. Our products are not ugly and stigmatizing. They are expressive and outstanding or subtle and beautiful, just like jewelry. We design to meet the needs of different users: from festival lovers, moto riders, and other loud hobbyists, to people suffering trauma or sound sensitivity. Will you help Loop to reduce noise in the daily life of people in a fashionable way?
In this role, you become part of the Product Development amp; Innovation Team. You work on projects that continue to sustain user satisfaction, product portfolio, and company growth.
The Role- Design and develop new products and accessories
- Analyze trends in lifestyle, fashion, colors, shapes, materials, finishes
- You are responsible to safeguard the brand language throughout the product design for all ‘very different’ target groups
- Design product collections
- Work together with the engineers to understand the technical limitations and challenges of each design
- Develop samples and arrange materials
- Support of the product manager, user, and research lead in visualizations and mock-ups of new ideas
Requirements
- You have a degree in industrial design or a minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar function
- You are creative and dare to go far out of the box, but can also propose designs that meet defined design aesthetic, technical specifications amp; brand values
- General awesomeness and a sense of humor
- Passion and fresh vision in fashion and wearables design
- Have excellent sketching skills
- You can bring across your message in an expressive way
- 3D drawing experience is a plus
- Demonstrate a very high degree of curiosity
- You are strong in communication and you make contacts easily
- A highly organized "doer" who takes initiative and executes
- Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities
- You are a strong team player that can work independently
- Your English knowledge is excellent
