Who we are
Optimile is an international software as a service (SaaS) company, providing a range of applications in the field of mobility. Optimile has developed a cloud based platform that takes a Charging as a Service (CaaS) and Mobility as a Service (MaaS) approach in order to connect users with various means of transport.
Optimile offers a white label charge point operator (CPO) and mobility service provider (MSP) platform for electric vehicles and charging infrastructure to professional customers worldwide. Optimile is based in Ghent, Belgium, operates in seven countries and numbers more than 6000 customers worldwide. The shareholders of Optimile are BNP Paribas Fortis, Touring and AG Insurance.
To support our fast growth, we are looking for a Product Owner CaaS to strengthen our product team. You will be the link between the development team, UX/UI design, Business Development and the product team in the implementation of new features from scratch to release.
Responsibilities
- You define and prioritize features for the CaaS product and gather feedback from the business team and customers about the product.
- You help in preparing new releases according to the roadmap.
- You work closely with our functional analysts, designers and developers to ensure features are described clearly in the product backlog.
- You consult the business team whether the proposed features fit the customer's need.
- You keep track of the backlog.
- You develop and maintain the product roadmap.
Requirements
- You have experience as a product owner in software development projects, preferably in the mobility sector or in SaaS services.
- You have experience in working with Agile/SCRUM teams.
- You are able to analyse complex situations and find the desired solutions.
- You can quickly change from a business to a technical perspective and vice versa.
- Your way of working can be described as structured, with an eye for detail and improvement.
- You have strong organizational, planning and negotiation skills.
- You know how to find the right tone of voice and you can make people enthusiastic.
- You have good written and verbal presentation skills.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English (both written and spoken).
