Software Architect

Customs4trade is looking for an experienced Software Architect to join our growing multi-functional team. As Software Architect you will be responsible for mapping, monitoring and optimizing the structure of our software-as-a-service solution. You will make high level design choices and enforce technical standards.

In this role you will:

• Define the architecture and design principles to guide technical decisions for our software-as-a-service solution
• Determine functional and non-functional requirements for new software modules
• Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
• Ensure compliance with the architecture chosen
• Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
• Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc.
• Analyze technology and industry trends and keep up to date with the latest trends
• You will report to the Technology Director

Requirements

• You have proven experience of at least 3y in a similar role as a software architect and a minimum of 10y of experience in total
• You have knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns
• You have good understanding of various coding methods and computer languages
• You have data modeling and database design experience
• You possess exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
• You are good in organizing and structuring
• You have strong proficiency in English, both oral and written
• You are familiar with Microsoft ecosystem and Azure cloud
