GemOne is a brand new tech company within TVH Holding that aims at developing future-proof solutions for optimal fleet performance management in multiple domains such as: track amp; trace, operational efficiency, security amp; safety and service amp; maintenance. We offer cloud-based solutions and the necessary hardware components to intelligently gather and enrich data of industrial equipment to streamline fleet management related processes.
Data is at the core of our business - we handle big data (and process tons of it!), mine raw data and turn it into relevante business insights that help our clients work more efficiently and safely. After gathering this data and adding business value to it, we allow our customers to easily access it through our web application or set up integrations in order to load the data into their own platform.

Requirements
Must have
Master’s degree in engineering or IT (or equivalent in experience) followed by a minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience
Experience with API design and API gateway solutions (apigee, kong, etc.)
Focus on non-functional requirements (security, monitoring, etc.)
Strong knowledge of Java (version 8 or above)
Clean code and SOLID are well known to you
Fluent in English
A willingness to learn and to teach!
2/3 days working from our office in Kortrijk
Nice to have
Experience with streaming APIs and event driven architecture
Knowledge of additional programming languages (e.g. Python/JavaScript)
Familiar with native cloud platforms and applications, preferably Google Cloud Platform
Experience in IoT and/or data analytics
A technical background in mechanical and/or electrical engineering, bringing understanding of machine generated data
