Hi we’re Loop. And we make earplugs.
Now we know what you’re thinking what’s so good about earplugs? But we’re not talking about the stereotypical dull, bland, squishy kind that barely drown out the sound of a fly. Nope we’re talking about the iconic, sound-enhancing kind. Where people are free to lose themselves in every moment. At their own volume and in their own style.
Loop is growing. We’re getting bigger and better, bringing newproducts to the market, and consistently working on new product developmentprojects. And as we grow and bring our product portfolio to the nextlevel, we need more top-quality people like you to work alongside us and help push us closer to our full potential.
So what about you? We’ve got a picture-perfect, dream mechanicalengineeringlead in our minds and we’re hoping you’re the reality. Someone who loves applying their creativity, mechanical intuition, and analytical skills to solve design challenges collaboratively. Someone who can build and work within a creative and diverse team. Someone who people look to for guidance and inspiration.
Your leadership and communication ring clear
Now we know that you don’t mean to brag, but you’re a damn good leader.
Since you started working with Loop, you’ve utilized your experience to build and manage a team of 4-8 rock-star mechanicalengineers.
You spend your days helping your team in their roles, making sure there aren't any bottlenecks in the projects, and coaching them to further develop their skills. And don’t forget helping to manage regular interaction with peers and senior management across operations and engineering.
If there’s one thing that people say about you, it’s that you know the right person for the right job, and you’re never caught empty-handed. You consistently have backup resources, your team has a quality and high output, and you’re constantly improving the product development process thanks for that!
Your team loves you. You’re collaborative and inclusive, you’ve got top-notch communication skills, and you’re always inspiring excellence because you lead from the front. And who doesn’t love a good front leader?!
Your experience is music to our ears
It’s clear to see that you’ve been around the block a few times. You’ve got a degree in mechanical engineering or a similar field, and you’ve got proven, tangible experience as a manager or technical lead of a mechanical design team. Not only that, but you also have a proven track record of supporting the most challenging of NPI projects.
Your experience includes working with consumergoods, electronicgoods, injectionmolding, and proven experience using CAD software, ideally Creo. Plus, you’re a dab hand when it comes to analytics and engineering fundamentals in solid mechanics, mechanical systems design, and tolerance analysis.
Honestly, you’ve got it all.
There’s no problem or mechanical mystery that you can’t solve, or at least have a good ol’ crack at. That’s on top of your experience in DFMEA, failure analysis, and root-cause investigation of multidisciplinary problems. A Sherlock Homes mixed with MacGyver type if you will.
And don’t even get us started on your safety standards. Your excellent attention to detail and understanding of the environmental impact of a design meant that we managed to minimize risk, and ensure the safety of our team and the planet.

We think this could be the start of something special. But before we shake hands, there are a couple of non-negotiable requirements that we have:
