We’re Loop. And we make earplugs. Now you might be wondering what makes earplugs so special. Because last time you checked, earplugs were those squishy yellow bits of foamy plastic that don’t really work and are bad for the environment.
But we’re not talking about those earplugs. We’re talking about the iconic, sound-enhancing kind. Where people are free to lose themselves in every moment. At their own volume and in their own style.
So, now you know about us, let’s learn about you. Sound good?
Testing, testing, one two
In the grand scheme of things, Loop is pretty young. But each day we’re getting bigger and bolder, and we’re consistently bringing newproducts to the market and working away on new developmentprojects. And with our ambitions to be the leader in enhancedhearing and to give people control over how they hear life, in style and confidence, we need new, exciting people to join our team people like you.
You’re the electromechanical Ramp;D engineer a company like us dreams about. You’ve got plenty of experience as a testing engineer, electromechanical engineer, or with consumer or electronic goods. Plus, that degree in electromechanicalengineering, industrial engineering, or another relevant field certainly helps.
You spend your days thoroughly inspectingandtesting our products before they’re launched. You put them through the wringer at every stage of production and identify any potentialissues and recommendimprovements because you’re smart like that.
You’ve got a problem-solving mindset, a hands-on attitude to get things done, high quality standards, and even higher safety standards. And you share these standards with our product development and advanced engineering teams who you work closely with every day plus Tom, our senior system engineer who leads the advanced engineering team.
Your excellence rings clear
Before you, our testing was done by an external partner. But now you’re helping us build our in-house knowledge and consistently pushing us to excellence, as well as helping us bring new disruptive products to market.
With your help, we built a testinglab that was fit for purpose and which enabled you to create a testing set-up that fit the needs of product development. You help us with acoustictesting (our soon-to-be-found acoustic engineer will be there to support you) and help with mechanicaltesting to make sure everything is A-OK.
And you don’t just find issues, you can also track the issue down to the root cause so that you can suggest fixes and improvements. Plus, you have built an automated testing system that regularly checks that the products meet industry standards.
You vibe with our Ramp;D
Our team loves how effectively you support them. Especially when you support and contribute to the Ramp;D team on our future innovative products. You’ve got hands-on experience with microcontrollers, and a solid knowledge of coding you’re basically a bit of a know-it-all, but we like that.
You know that each project will vary in size but that’s OK because you’re passionate about what you do. And with our constant support and flexibility, and a healthy Ramp;D budget, you have everything you need to succeed.
