Job Description

Hi, we are Loop. We make earplugs. But not the mushy sound-muting kind. Ours don’t block the sound; they filter it. And they look smart and fit comfortably too. Thousands of noise-sensitive people went crazy for them, calling them ‘a life changer’.

Today, we’re one of the fastest growing DTC brands in hearables. And we keep on growing. Exploding even. But we’re ambitious. We want to get our name and earplugs out there, changing even more lives.

You know what’s exploding too? The number of visuals on the internet. It’s a visual battlefield out there. And people make up their minds about your brand in a few seconds these days. No wonder we’re looking for a Senior Graphic Designer who can come up with ideas and visuals to grab people’s attention. And keep it too.

Someone who can:

Design things people stop scrolling for

Define ‘things’, you ask? Well, anything from 360 product launches to online awareness campaigns and offline packaging concepts. You come up with creative concepts, have a say in the execution and own the visual aspect throughout the entire process. Art direction and visual identity included. The verbal part? That’s the copywriter’s responsibility. A.k.a. your other half - professionally speaking of course. Because you won’t do this alone.

You’re a key part of our in-house creative team led by Alex, your Creative Director and Nathalie, Loop’s Brand Manager. So, whenever you’re stuck, need a second opinion or just looking for some positive vibes, reach out to them. But that way of working isn’t new to you, right? You’ve been working in a creative or digital agency for a year or seven now, so you know the drill.

Own Loop’s visual language

Yes, you’re Loop’s visual dictionary. As you live and breathe. Whether you’re reviewing the photographer’s product shots or designing your own campaign images, you own Loop’s visual identity. And you know exactly which fonts, colors and layouts to use to make it all come together. Whether it’s Instagram stories, product photography, landing pages, leaflets, guides, of packaging. Love thinking about the big picture? Here’s where you get to go all out. Our brand team will worship you for it. Speaking of teams. Since you’re at the visual heart of Loop, you’ll work with all of them. Product designers, business developers, and marketers, you’re here to help them all out. And you wouldn’t want it any other way.

Your inner go-getter is in for a treat too. Our social media and content strategists are relying on you as well for the visual assets of their content plans, top topicals and advertising campaigns. And they tend to move quickly. But you’re quite a creative suite and Figma hot shot too, right? Shouldn’t be a problem then. In fact, things move pretty fast around here in general. It’s that scale-up vibe, you see. Included in that vibe: an open feedback culture. So, if you have ideas on how to up our game on any front, let’s hear them. Oh, and did we mention we’re allergic to big egos? No room for that here. The best ideas and designs get picked, no matter who came up with them.

Requirements

Only three of them? Yes. Nice surprise, isn’t it? They’re not up for discussion though. Must-have material.

  • You know how to get your ideas across. You’re fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • You’re based in Europe. Time zones, you know.
  • Plus points: Knowledge of Blender / Cinema 4D / Motion (after effects)
  • Freelancecontract or interim contract for the first 3 months. Possibility to join internally after this period.

Benefits

A.k.a. the what’s-in-it-for-you part.

  • A challenge. No really, it’s the one thing we’re absolutely sure of around here.
  • We take care of our people. So, we pay them what they’re worth. Expect a competitive pay for your level of experience and potential. Legal benefits included.
  • An open-minded work culture. And we’re not just saying that. We operate on a global level. Which means we work with people from all over the world.
  • A ping-pong table. Are we even a legit scale-up without it? #lifequestions
  • Also: Malta. The location of our last team building. Just saying.
  • Friday afternoon off during July and August. Fully paid. No strings attached. Go ahead, live your life to the fullest.

So, what do you think? Are you our next Senior Graphic Designer? If it’s a ‘yes’ or even just a ‘maybe’ reach out to Jennifer, our Talent Partner. A link to your LinkedIn profile will do. An up
