Embedded Software Engineer

Seven Sensing Software is looking for a talented embedded software developer to integrate our audio libraries on various low-footprint embedded platforms.

Seven Sensing Software develops audio algorithms, optimized for low-footprint embedded platform, which improves the perception and transmission of voice communication.

You will join our Audio Product Development team, integrating our next generation of audio products into TWS devices. More concretely, you will work closely with platform vendors in order to architecture, design and integrate our audio libraries on various types of embedded platforms. The integration activities cover:

• Integrate audio libraries on audio platforms (Qualcomm QCC series, Tensilica Hifi based platforms, BES...).
• Improve automation of software testing
• Test and validate the audio library integration
• Work with customer support teams, moving from reference integration to customer integration support

Requirements

• You have a valid work permit for working in the EU.
• You hold a MSc in computer science or a related field and you can demonstrate a consistent track record in the following areas:
  • Several years of experience in architecting, building, integrating software on ARM-based platforms or DSP
  • Excellent software development skills in C/C++
• Professional experience in developing product-grade code including high-level software development practices, integration into CI environment, proper testing, packaging, and releasing of the software
• Agile, pragmatic, hardworking and a can do mentality.
• Fluent in English both writing and speaking. English is the day to day language in the company.
• Team player but as well autonomous and self-organized.
• Strong interest in audio processing algorithms

Nice to have:

• Good knowledge of Python
• Experience working as part of a scrum team

Project:

• Integration of audio libraries on ARM and DSP based platforms
