As Finance Manager at Rydoo, your responsibilities will include overseeing the end-to-end finance operations for all Rydoo entities, looking to make improvements to procedures and controls, managing the transition to a new ERP and supporting the Rydoo Executive Team with your insights and financial advice to allow them to make the best business decisions for the company. This position is reporting to the CFO.
Requirements
- Oversee all accounting activities for all Rydoo entities
- Prepare financial statements
- Manage and oversee the cash flow of the company and ensure it has the appropriate treasury controls
- Responsible for the company’s banking and borrowing arrangements
- Ensure effective cost control
- Manage and oversee Rydoo’s taxation affairs and liaising with the external tax firms for specialist advice
- Managing the External Auditor relationship and ensuring the organisation is compliant with accounting standards
- Advising on market changes and providing strategic financial recommendation to the CFO and other Executive Team Members
- Recruitment, training, mentoring and development of your team
- Manage the company’s insurance coverage
- Lead the change of accounting system
- Create and implement new policies and procedures, as well as maintaining existing ones
- Manage and oversee the company’s financial systems and ensure the Finance Team works in an efficient way
- 5+ years of relevant experience in a financial management position with a proven record of success
- Sound decision making skills based on accurate and timely analyses
- Results oriented and metrics driven
- Exceptional time management and able to solve problems
- Exceptional interpersonal communication and leadership skills, team spirit, with the ability to communicate and manage staff at all levels
- Ability to lead by example and demonstrate a strong sense of integrity, ethics and dependability
- Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Advanced computer software skills, including Excel
- Track record of leading the change / implementation of accounting system is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA)
- Experience with Netsuite is a plus
