Job Description
Nallian empowers the different stakeholders in a (air cargo) supply chain to work together in a smooth and connected way. Our solutions and components are offered on a SaaS platform, built using the latest technologies.
To support our rapid worldwide expansion we are looking for a Senior Functional Analyst with minimum 5 years of professional experience to reinforce the team. You will be involved in redesigning existing solutions and making applications scalable and more product oriented. You will also translate our internal and external client needs into new high-quality functionalities of our products. You will perform standard testing and ensure that the requested functionality is delivered according to our standards in useability. You will be part of the software development department with teams in Belgium and Vietnam, and work closely together with all levels of our organization.

You will:
- Be the bridge between product managers and developers and collaborate with architects and operations
- Understand the involved persona’s, their operational functionality in the industry/market we serve and map it to our existing solution portfolio
- Have the responsibility to gather and translate high-level requirements into more detailed functional and technical requirements for developers
- Take ownership of the process starting from analyzing these requirements to delivery
- Write test plans, execute acceptance tests, and validate/test delivered features
- Define reporting and alerting requirements
- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues, and deliver better value to the customer
- Balance between must and nice-to-have, and keep costs in mind
Requirements
- You have excellent analytical skills with an IT background (master’s or bachelor's degree in IT)
- You take ownership, solve problems, and get things done
- You have proven work experience with software development, understanding concepts such as IAM, REST, API, and JSON
- You are familiar with modeling standards like BPMN, UML, and data modeling, ...
- You can collaborate in agile teams defining user stories and acceptance criteria in refinement
- You have knowledge of logistics business processes, in air cargo is nice to have
- You have strong written and verbal communication skills, including technical writing skills, and documentation
- You are fluent in Dutch and English
