IT Operations Manager
Smappee, Belgium

Smappee is a fast growing company, to support our global expansion we are looking for an operational IT Operations Manager.

In this new role, you will be shaping the growth of our internal IT department. You will operate from Belgium but will work with colleagues and clients globally.

In short you will:

• Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and procedures for our global IT operations
• Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems. In case of problematic areas, you will implement strategic solutions in time
• Set up scalable processes and procedures with the business.
• Coordinate ERP (Odoo) and business intelligence. You will build the foundations of our business intelligence strategy.
• Manage and monitor our business application architecture/tooling including access management.
• You manage the IT Workplace, this includes all hardware for the entire organization.
• Manage internal and external (suppliers) network infrastructure and security.
• You will be the go-to person for the individual team member and management regarding IT.
• Work together with our HR on the on- and offboarding of employees.
• Work together with the Ramp;D team who is responsible for our cloud infrastructure and products.

Requirements

• Bachelor or master degree with a minimum of 7 years of experience.
• Hands-on attitude.
• Experience in network infrastructure and firewalls.
• Have strategic thinking and business acumen.
• Have the experience to organize and lead several projects at the same time.
• Eager to learn new things and open to a fast paced environment.
• Experience with Odoo is a plus.
• Proven track record in business intelligence.
• Comfortable to work in a matrix organization.
• Experience in an international context. Fluent in English.
