Solvay Lifelong Learning’s mission is to meet the learning needs of professionals, managers, executives and business owners. We accompany their personal and career development by providing a portfolio of programmes that includes Open Enrolment Masters and Programmes and Company-Specific Programmes. We cover the main management practices, from General Management to more specialised disciplines like Leadership, Digital Transformation, Finance, Innovation, Marketing and much more.

The activity of Solvay Lifelong Learning is closely connected with Solvay Brussels School of Economics amp; Management (SBS-EM) inside the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB).


For its Executive Education programmes, and more specifically its EMBA and Entrepreneurship programmes, Solvay Lifelong Learning is looking for a full-time Program Manager with great communication, education development amp; project management skills, and a customer-oriented mindset. Working in English and French, and in blended learning environment.

PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION OF THE JOB

Under the supervision of the Portfolio Director (N+1), and in collaboration with academic and operations teams, the Program Manager is responsible for the following tasks in the lifecycle of educational programmes (online and on campus):

  • Development of new educational programmes: strategy, vision, content, and financials (Profit amp;Loss statement)
  • Marketing and Sales
  • Recruitment and Admissions
  • Alumni management

The Program Manager entrusts and briefs the operational team to run the educational programmes under his/her responsibility.

The current developments are focused on Sustainability, Entrepreneurship, Leadership and Digital Transformation.

Your responsibilities are based on three main components:

1. The preparation of the programme(s)

You:

Define the Programme Value Proposition,
  • Definition of the target segment
  • Value Proposition definition
  • Extracurricular Activities Definition
  • Competition analysis and Definition of Unique Selling Proposition (USP)

Structure the Programme,

  • Content set-up with Academic Directors and Faculty Members
  • Pedagogical Objectives and learning methods (AoL: assurance of learning)
  • Sessions/courses Objectives and Content (IoL: intents of learning)
  • Faculty and Content Management (inc. coherence and quality)
  • Pedagogical Content (cases, articles, simulations, assessments and exams,...)
  • Continuous pedagogical improvement
  • Faculty/teacher selection amp; briefing

Define the Programme Budget,

  • Budget development amp; Follow-up (pricing, costs, teacher fee,etc)

2. Programme Sales amp; Marketing

You:

Define and roll-out the Marketing and Sales Strategy, in collaboration with the marketing team in the framework of the School Marketing Strategy

  • Marketing plan and investment definition
  • Sales plan and investment definition
  • Partnership strategy (relay, press, ...)
  • Partnership Management
  • Event Management
  • CRM Management (workflows, conversion rate, ...)

Are responsible for all Sales activities,

  • Leads Follow-up
  • Sales Follow-up (Invoicing participants amp; payment follow up,...)

3. Student Success

You are responsible for

  • Recruitment of applicants, incl. specific admission processes
  • Administrative student follow-up (attendance, examinations, financials)

4. In addition to these 3 components,

You (pro-)actively participate in the life of Solvay Lifelong Learning Executive Education and its continuous improvement. You

  • Support digital development and solutions
  • Are part of the Sales, Admissions and Marketing team and participate in transversal projects
  • Support the organization of global events
  • Are involved in various cross-cutting projects, including company strategy and growth
