Duties amp; Role:
- Perform the technical leader duties to manage end point security services on multiple networks at NATO HQ. These services are based on a wide range of McAfee products (Firewall, DLP, drive encryption, threat preventions, application control)
- Coordinate and guide a small team of cyber security analysts to execute these tasks
- Planning, implementing and taking the lead in rolling out McAfee product upgrades at least once every two months on windows end user devices (laptops, workstations and VDI) and Windows and Linux servers
- Ensure that the team is appropriately responding to tickets related to end point security
- Work with other IT administrators to troubleshoot problems to identify if the McAfee products are causing the problems.
- Test and implement NATO security policies for end point security products.
- Optimize policies of end point security products to improve performance and troubleshoot performance related issues
- Work with stakeholders to ensure that configurations align with industry best practice.
- Follow existing approval processes to request required exceptions
- Create appropriate SOPs and documentation
We're looking for a McAfee expert who does not require detailed supervision but will take initiative to solve incidents and problems and can communicate with stakeholders while escalating to management when appropriate.
Requirements
Skill, Knowledge amp; Experience:
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- Recent knowledge and experience managing the entire range of McAfee products (Firewall, DLP, drive encryption, threat preventions, application control) on windows end user devices and windows / linux servers
- Experience managing technical teams to deliver results
- Experience with service delivery in a complex IT environment, following ITIL processes while maintaining high levels of system availability
- Strong communication skills
