Duties amp; Role:
Provides support to projects, services and operational exercises by:
- Reviewing and approving quality plans delivered by contractors or planners.
- Participating in all QA and QC activities, as defined in the Quality Plans.,
- Reviewing contractor QA reports
Ensuring Process and Project Compliance - Producing QA reports for all formal IVVQ events.
- Assuring the accuracy of the project Requirements Traceability Matrix.
Measuring requirements compliance. - Assisting the TVV Managers with the assessment of TVV and the development of recommendations to the Project Manager.
Provides support to BI-SCs with regard to Operational Acceptance process
Measures and reports on Agency quality metrics and KPIs
Works with Project Managers to help reduce overall Agency risk by developing a plan to assure risk reduction measures.
Provides recommendations and guidance to the section head regarding the delivery of QA services.
Performs other duties as required.
Requirements
Skill, Knowledge amp; Experience:
- The candidate must have a currently active NATO SECRET security clearance
- 6 years recent experience in the planning and execution of QA activities.
- ITIL v3/v4 foundation certification
- Quality assurance certification at the foundation/practitioner level.
- Knowledge of software/system/service life cycle management and quality management preferably in a PRINCE2 amp; ITIL environment;
- Working-level knowledge of MS-Office, Project, Visio and SharePoint.
- Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing with good briefing skills.
Desired:
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Knowldege of Atlassian JIRA and IBM Doors
- Experience in software development
- Experience in configuration management
- Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements;
- Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization including the NATO Military Authorities, Allied Command Operations and Allied Command Transformation.
