Financial Controller
Smappee, Belgium

Smappee is a fast growing company, to support our global expansion we are looking for a strong controller. Together with the CFO and the accounting team, you will build the foundations of the finance organization. You will drive the financial and business controlling function. You will operate from Belgium HQ but will work with colleagues globally. As controller, you will play a crucial role in our growth and report directly to the CFO.

• Manage the budget process
• Drive the forecasting process and align with actuals and budgets
• Provide management guidance on financial and business metrics
• Monitor financial performance of the company
• Set up business unit reporting
• Drive working capital improvement projects
• Work closely with the CFO on strategic projects
• Prepare board presentations together with CFO
• Set up scalable processes and procedures with the business
• Drive improvement projects
• Ad hoc projects for management team

Requirements

• Finance degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience
• Experience in a fast moving environment
• Hands-on attitude
• Experience in an international context
• Good project management skills
• Strong analytical mindset with good Excel knowledge
• Experience with an ERP system
• Strong communication skills
